I coach because that is the most organic, joyful and meaningful way for me to utilize my time and my life. I would do it even if it were not a profession.
In my formative years, I had noticed that in spaces that offer deep listening and presence, I can listen to my intuition more clearly and when I trust and act upon my intuition peace, joy and love are my companions. I endeavour to create a similar space for my clients through the coaching practice, where they feel safe enough to get in touch with their intuition and find ways to trust and follow their innermost longing and guidance.
After completing my master's degree in Counseling Psychology, I got my 200 hr Yoga teacher training certification, as I intuitively could feel that immense release and emotional healing is possible when one is in tune with the body and the breath. This journey also got me to Coaching and Nonviolent Communication (NVC) as developed by Marshal Rosenberg, i use the coaching frameworks along with NVC extensively to explore and understand what is the core motivating energy behind our actions and behaviours.
I continue to learn newer practices and am currently studying Somatic Experiencing, a trauma-healing modality. The last few years have been about assimilating and synthesizing all these modalities together in a practice that is in service of my clients.
